The Ides of March: 3/15/2021 Woody Dorsey
March is famously known for being a ‘cruel’ month and the 15th, the ‘Ides,’ is historically notorious. History never repeats. Each March is different! Sometimes you can only know if you dare to know that you don’t know. Of course, no one really knows. I don’t know. I did expect Stocks
to make a low in early March. I do expect them to try to trade up much of this cruel month. I do expect to see some April Fools. Uh oh, I have
expectations again. Might be dangerous. The market is always talking but we don’t listen. You can’t tell the market what to do. We subconsciously
think we know what it ‘should’ do. It always rejects our time and price assumptions. Still, I have made a study of time for five decades. I don’t know if this is a boon or a curse. My tactical profile projected the 3/4 low. It aligns with the 1/29 low. If this critical support is breached it will trigger a “Kill Zone.” Strength is projected into 3/26ish. Last week was easy. This week is inconclusive. Weekly profiles allowed for topping into April or May. Now, I cannot see it looking that good for that long. Early Summer looks like a Killer. Beware that episodic rate rise rhetoric will rattle “Risk On” adherents, not only this year but for decades to come! Don’t be an April Fool. The Ides of March are here. Plan accordingly. Keep listening. Markets are amazing!
